Why doesn't the author of the driver answer my questions?
Most of the times that's becouse the answer is already covered by the documentation or changelog. In other cases a particular issue might have been already discussed on the forums many times, so you just have to check them.
Don't even think to report possible bugs without providing full kernel messages (with debug=3) and specifying the version of the driver. I usually don't rely on the logs from the applications - I will ask for them only if I need them. This means that you always have to verify the kernel logs and make sure the bug is not in the application, otherwise I won't answer.
Also read this FAQ. In every case, the fact that you don't actually see any answer from me, does not imply that other users can not help.
